At Hand of the King, our mission is to advance the well-being of underserved populations through compassionate outreach, collaborative partnerships, and initiatives that inspire lasting positive change.
Founded in 2025, Hand of the King carries forward the compassionate spirit of Mildred and Napoleon King, Sr. Their legacy of selfless giving and community support continues to inspire our initiatives today. We honor their memory by striving to uplift underserved populations through dedicated outreach programs.
Mr. King, known for his infectious laughter and charm, was a skilled laborer and entrepreneur with a heart of gold. Often times called "Boss Man", he never met a stranger. In his golden years, he assisted other elderly neighbors by taking them to their medical appointments until his health began to fail. Gospel quartet music filled his heart as he knew that his help came from God.
Mrs. King was a master seamstress who operated her business out of her home. She was known to feed those in need as cooking was her love language. Her business also afforded her the opportunity to speak uplifting words of wisdom to her clients. In some cases, she provided services free of charge to assist those that were facing financial hardship. Faith in God was her anchor.
